ABOUT PATCH POP!
CREATE.
DISPLAY.
INSPIRE.
Patch Pop is a proudly Māori-owned business, founded by descendants of the Tainui, Horouta and Takitimu waka. Inspired by our whakapapa, we create contemporary wall art that celebrates culture and identity.
OUR TEAM
DESIGNED BY MĀORI WHO LOVE DESIGN.
Patch Pop is a proudly Māori-owned creative business with a mission to help normalise te reo Māori in everyday spaces through contemporary wall art.
We are a small team of Māori creatives with a passion for te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, typography, interiors, visual culture and meaningful design.
We believe something as simple as a poster can spark conversation, inspire curiosity and make te reo Māori a visible part of homes, workplaces, classrooms and community spaces.
Every collection is thoughtfully designed in Aotearoa, with a focus on quality, simplicity and timeless style.
OUR NAME
WHAT DOES PATCH POP! MEAN?
Patch Pop! takes inspiration from a patchwork quilt, where individual pieces come together to create something bigger than themselves.
Each artwork adds its own story, personality and perspective. Alone, it makes a statement. Together, they create a collection that reflects who you are.
Created by Māori and designed for everyone, Patch Pop exists to help normalise te reo Māori by making it a visible part of everyday homes, workplaces, classrooms and spaces.
The "Pop" is the bold typography, colour and contrast that brings every piece to life.
Every wall tells a story.
WHY PATCH POP!
EVERY PRINT IS A PATCH.
Every design is one piece of a bigger story.
Collected together, they become a visual expression of language, culture and identity.
Ko te reo te mauri o te mana Māori.
The language is the life force of Māori identity.
OUR MANIFESTO
LET YOUR WALLS SPEAK.
Not with clutter.
With meaning.
With conversation.
With personality.
With purpose.
Make your walls mean something.
Toitū te kupu, toitū te mana.
When our words endure, our mana endures.
